Drop Caps

Illustraited Letters

A drop cap, also called a dropped capital, is defined as a large capital letter used as a decorative element at the beginning of a paragraph or section that are typically two or more lines in size. The letters used in this project were 'U' and 'F'. The 'U' was illustrated digitally to take the form of a large U-magnet causing sparks of electricity to fly through the air. The 'F' was illustraited traditionally to take the form of a green tree frog reaching out from behind a branch. Both drop caps are meant to contrast eachother through the concept of artificial vs naturual.
